2006-03-25 [Zardra]: I have to take part in this since my other entry is just that, gay love... so, I believe that drow men inside drow houses have to be very careful if they do are gay, if they are discovered, they will be killed. But: Bregan Daerthe is ruled by men, Jarlaxle... come on, he's gay! all those rainbow coloured clothes and such... obvious. That also gives a huge advantage and power to Bregan Daerthe over the big houses, since the Matrons cannot use Jarlaxle, they have no affect on him. But I do agree that being gay inside a drow house, is like a death centence if they are not careful... then again, drows very rarely show it anyways if they do love someone because that would be used against them.

About drow men in general, a way for them to have an equal relationship, would be to have a male lover, of course in secrecy, but thats the way almost everything works in the drow society anyways
